2019 Year 5 Month 22 From day to day 26 At the invitation of the Japan Packaging Industry Federation, Xu Weifeng, Director of the China Packaging Research & Testing Center, and his delegation traveled to Japan to learn advanced expertise in talent development, corporate management practices, and product manufacturing technologies. The primary focus of their visit was to gain an in-depth understanding of the Packaging Management Specialist Program and to tour leading transportation packaging companies. Accompanying Director Xu on this study exchange were also several prominent domestic entrepreneurs specializing in transportation packaging.

During the visit to Japan, the Japan Packing Industry Federation introduced our delegation to the association's core activities and its efforts in nurturing management professionals, and also extended an invitation to observe a live session of the Management Professional Program.

Visiting Japan's leading transportation packaging companies was also a major focus of this trip to Japan for exchange purposes. This time, we visited Nagashima Bundling Co., Ltd. Yokohama Office, SANRITSU Joint-stock Company Sanritsu Yokohama Business Office 、 Joint-stock Company Wanamitech Kawasaki Business Office Three Japanese companies.

This exchange with the Japan Packaging Industry Federation yielded significant and fruitful results, enabling the Japanese side to recognize the remarkable rise of China's domestic transport packaging industry. It also laid a solid foundation for smoother future exchanges and mutual visits among the three countries. Moreover, this collaborative event allowed Chinese peers to gain valuable insights into their Japanese counterparts' advanced approaches in areas such as business management, technological innovation, and talent development—insights that can serve as an excellent reference for their own companies looking to enhance performance across the board.

    In recent years, the center, serving as the secretariat unit for the Transport Packaging Committee of the China Packaging Federation, has significantly increased its engagement with relevant associations in Japan and South Korea. To strengthen technical exchanges among companies in the transport packaging industries across the three countries and to help propel China’s transport packaging sector—particularly in heavy-duty packaging technology—toward world-class levels, the center has tirelessly undertaken extensive initiatives. These efforts have earned widespread recognition from numerous domestic industry players.
