The Party Committee of the China Packaging Research and Testing Center convened an expanded meeting of its Party Building Leadership Group to outline the plan for disciplinary study and education activities.
On April 15, the expanded meeting of the Party Building Work Leading Group of the Party Committee at the China Packaging Research & Testing Center was held to thoroughly study and implement General Secretary Xi Jinping's important speeches and instructions on party discipline education, as well as the relevant会议精神 from the Central Party, the SASAC Party Committee, the Group Party Committee, and the China Packaging Party Committee. The meeting also marked a comprehensive mobilization and deployment of party discipline education initiatives within the Tianjin science and technology sector. Xu Weifeng, Secretary of the Center’s Party Committee and Director, delivered a keynote speech outlining the plans for party discipline education. Feng Yong, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Secretary of the Discipline Inspection Commission, conveyed General Secretary Xi Jinping’s key remarks and instructions, along with the spirit of the higher-level Party Committees. Attendees included Party Committee members Zhang Weihong, Yuan Wenguang, and Li Zhiheng, as well as branch committee members from affiliated organizations.

The meeting noted, Party discipline study and education is a crucial initiative aimed at strengthening the Party's disciplinary framework and driving the comprehensive and deepening of strict governance over the Party. Party discipline serves as the set of behavioral rules that all Party organizations at every level and every member must follow, ensuring unity and cohesion within the Party while enabling it to fulfill its missions. By conducting party discipline education, our Party demonstrates its unwavering commitment to upholding strict governance, continuously enhancing its governing capacity and leadership capabilities. This effort underscores our firm confidence and determination to relentlessly pursue self-reform, uniting and leading the people to propel Chinese-style modernization forward on this new journey in the era ahead.

The meeting emphasized, To integrate learning and education initiatives with the implementation of the important speeches and guiding principles of General Secretary Xi Jinping, we must deeply study and apply his significant remarks and directives, ensuring alignment and resonance. This will help ensure that the spirit of the General Secretary’s key speeches takes root and flourishes within Tianjin’s science and technology sector. Moreover, we should align learning and education efforts with the drive for high-quality development in Tianjin’s science and technology sector. At this critical juncture of reform and growth, it’s essential to further strengthen discipline, rectify misconduct, combat corruption, and simultaneously encourage officials to step up and take responsibility—ultimately propelling the sector toward higher levels of achievement and innovation. Additionally, we must effectively combine problem-oriented approaches with targeted corrective actions. By maintaining a strong focus on identifying specific issues, we’ll thoroughly examine any shortcomings among Party members and cadres in adhering to Party discipline. Drawing on feedback from China Packaging Inspection, Party building assessments, and specialized inspections, we’ll systematically address these challenges and ensure comprehensive implementation of corrective measures. Finally, we must advance institutional development in tandem with the establishment of long-term mechanisms. Viewing institutional strengthening as a vital component of our learning and education initiatives, we’ll meticulously review, refine, and establish robust regulations across Tianjin’s science and technology sector. Emphasizing both the enforceability and binding nature of these systems, we’ll guarantee their effective implementation, fostering a culture of accountability and driving tangible progress and excellence.

The meeting requested, Tianjin's science and technology sector's party organizations at all levels should strengthen organizational leadership, enhance work support, and emphasize publicity and guidance. They must integrate learning with practical application, accurately grasp the goals, requirements, and key tasks of Party discipline education, and ensure that thoughts and actions are aligned with the CPC Central Committee's decisions and plans—ultimately achieving tangible results from this educational initiative.
