Wang Lili, Chairwoman of the Municipal Science and Technology Bureau Union, officially unveiled the city's "Mommy Room."

To deeply implement care initiatives for female employees and help new mothers better nurture their babies, the trade union of the China Packaging Research & Testing Center, with the thoughtful support of the center’s leadership, has invested both resources and funding to build a caring "Mommy Room," in accordance with the requirements set forth by the Tianjin Federation of Trade Unions and the Tianjin Science and Technology Bureau Union. 4 On the 23rd, Wang Lili, Chairwoman of the Tianjin Municipal Science and Technology Bureau’s Trade Union, visited the center and joined the center’s Party and administrative leaders in officially unveiling the center’s union “Mommy Room.”

After the unveiling ceremony, Chairwoman Wang Lili inspected the environment and facilities of the "Mommy Room," fully praising the center's efforts in setting up the space. She also offered constructive guidance for its future use. She remarked, " The establishment of "Mommy's Room" reflects the care and concern that workplaces and union organizations have for female employees, providing them with a comfortable and welcoming space during this special time—and effectively addressing the challenges women face regarding their physiological needs and breastfeeding. It’s a clear demonstration of how the union is fulfilling its role as a "home for workers."

The center's leadership also stated that the establishment of the "Mommy Room" is a new initiative by the union aimed at supporting female employees—specifically those who are planning to conceive, pregnant, or breastfeeding. This private, clean, comfortable, and secure space was designed exclusively for their needs. Additionally, it serves as a platform for the union to better serve its members and promote maternal and infant health education. Moving forward, the center will continue to fully support the union’s efforts, ensuring that care for female employees is thoughtfully implemented down to the smallest details—and addressed precisely where it matters most—so as to alleviate any concerns they may have during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
