The center's innovative achievement has won the Excellent Innovation Award in the first "Three Smalls" competition held by China Logistics Group.

To promote mass-based scientific and technological innovation within the China Logistics Group and inspire employees' innovative spirit, the Group’s Science & Technology Innovation Department, in collaboration with the Party and Mass Work Department (Trade Union Office), jointly organized the first "Three Small" Innovation Achievement Solicitation Event of China Logistics Group, as part of the group’s "Science and Technology Innovation Month" activities. Among the 156 "small inventions, small improvements, and minor innovations" submitted by the Group’s directly managed companies, the project titled "Renovation of Energy-Efficient Packaging Testing Equipment for Hazardous Chemicals in Logistics," submitted by the China Packaging Research & Testing Center, stood out exceptionally and was awarded the Outstanding Achievement Prize, along with a cash reward of 1,500 yuan. The project team members include Li Zhiheng, Zhang Xiaomeng, Guan Anning, Zhang Kontong, Jia Quanming, Zhang Jinsheng, Li Juwei, Wu Siyu, and Wang Zhili.

The "Renovation Project of Energy-Efficient Packaging Testing Equipment for Hazardous Chemicals in Logistics" was initiated and implemented by relevant technical staff from the Center's Equipment Management Department and the Transportation Packaging Laboratory, based on the center's actual testing needs as well as its commitment to energy conservation and cost reduction. Drawing on extensive practical experience, the renovation project systematically integrated sample handling, lifting, and positioning mechanisms with the water supply and drainage systems. It also leverages a computerized system to enable coordinated control of chillers and heaters, ensuring optimal environmental temperatures while minimizing energy consumption. According to real-world calculations, the overall energy consumption of the upgraded equipment is 40 times lower than that of the original testing setup, while simultaneously enhancing ease of operation, safety, and reliability. The project’s successful outcomes have already been widely promoted across industries, effectively addressing the specialized testing requirements of inspection and testing organizations, as well as hazardous chemical packaging manufacturers.

The center will further strengthen technological innovation in its future work, actively exploring and addressing challenges or issues within its operational areas. By leveraging innovative thinking and cutting-edge technologies, we aim to break away from conventional approaches and develop more "small inventions, minor improvements, and incremental innovations" that will drive forward the center’s core business activities—and ultimately support the group company’s efforts in fostering innovation and growth.
