Here it comes—the high-temperature stacking test chamber for the transport packaging testing lab, independently developed by our center!
Drawing on more than 30 years of extensive experience, the center has not only achieved remarkable success in transportation packaging testing services but is also continuously exploring and refining the facilities and equipment used in its related work.
Recently, the center has developed another experimental device— High-Temperature Stack Testing Chamber So, what surprises will it bring us? Let’s find out together.

Transformation and rebirth, delivering superior performance
To address how temperature and stacking capacity of plastic drums, plastic cans, and other packaging containers—used for hazardous materials—affect packaged goods during testing, the center recognized the need for specialized equipment to complement existing high-temperature testing capabilities, given the broad functionality of conventional climate chambers. As a result, a dedicated R&D team was established, and after numerous discussions and rigorous testing, a groundbreaking new device emerged. This innovative equipment is designed to seamlessly adapt to diverse regional conditions and laboratory environments. Most notably, the internal mechanism within the high-temperature stacking chamber precisely simulates load-bearing conditions, enabling compliance with GB/T 4857.3-2008 standards for conducting high-temperature stacking tests on plastic containers.
Attribute-specific, targeted detection
The temperature sensor is installed at the air conditioner's outlet, where the blower, chiller, heater, and other components operate to maintain the desired temperature at the outlet.
Based on the conditions within the laboratory, the control system manages the ability of equipment such as chillers and heaters to produce the required temperature using the least amount of energy.
Equipped with the capability for long-term high-temperature stacking tests, this facility simulates a 28-day storage environment at 40°C for hazardous material packaging, allowing packages to be fully immersed in the predefined conditions—while ensuring no leaks occur throughout the entire testing process.
Easy to operate, significantly saving energy and reducing labor costs.
The device is equipped with a dedicated lifting mechanism, a water supply system, a drainage system, and a packaging, transportation, and handling system—all designed for convenient operation. It operates by maintaining a consistent temperature of “ Fixed-value operation "System that can dynamically adjust the operation of equipment like freezers and heaters based on the lab's current conditions, enabling it to achieve the desired temperature with minimal energy consumption. Test data comparisons show that this approach reduces electricity usage by more than 40 times, significantly cutting down operational costs—including labor and material expenses—while also effectively lowering overall energy consumption."
Additionally, for protective purposes, the freezer is equipped with a circuit featuring both delay and safety functions. As a result, the freezer can either pause or shut down—whether it’s starting up or being stopped. Furthermore, to ensure convenient access for users entering the room, the laboratory door has been designed to open inward rather than outward.
Reliable quality, guaranteed safety
Equipped with comprehensive protection features such as compressor overpressure safeguard, fan overheating protection, leakage protection, and water tank dry-run protection, this device ensures both the safety of the equipment itself and the well-being of its users. Additionally, the laboratory space is generously designed to accommodate both small and large test samples, allowing flexible adjustments to simulate various usage conditions. As a result, this makes it one of the most versatile environmental testing instruments available.
For laboratory sizes and controllable temperature ranges, custom designs can also be tailored to meet specific requirements.
This custom-designed equipment not only fills a gap in the packaging inspection industry but also represents a testament to technological advancements and scientific progress within the sector—making it worthy of widespread adoption and use.
